Mercedes X
In 2018, we took to the rugged terrain of Guarda, Portugal, to capture the Mercedes X in its element. Shot as part of a campaign and test drive event produced by Finiclasse SA, the series places the vehicle against the raw, open landscapes of the Portuguese interior. The images are bold and unhurried — wide skies, dirt roads and natural light doing the heavy lifting. It is commercial photography that doesn't feel like it, favouring atmosphere over artifice. A clean, confident body of work that lets both the land and the machine speak for themselves.
