The Feira do Folar de Valpaços is an annual celebration held in the last weekend before Easter, dedicated to one of northern Portugal's most beloved culinary traditions. The folar de Valpaços is a savoury Easter bread, unique to the Trás-os-Montes region, filled with pork, ham, chouriço and local sausages, all wrapped in a dough made with eggs and Trás-os-Montes olive oil. This 2021 promotional campaign captures the warmth and spirit of the fair through a series of short films, documenting the people, the craft and the atmosphere that have kept the tradition alive since 1998. More than a food festival, it is a gathering rooted in community, memory and the pride of a region that knows how to honour what it makes. A portrait of a place where bread is also a story.
