Carolina Garfo
Carolina Garfo is a Portuguese ceramicist whose work turns everyday language and human emotion into sculptural form. Working primarily with stoneware, engobe and glaze fired at high temperature, her pieces are shaped around idioms and social rituals — from longing and awkward dinners to the weight of unspoken words. With practice deeply rooted in the poetry of the mundane, her catalogue, reflects a consistent and evolving voice that is at once playful, intimate and quietly sharp.
